The Student Health Services (SHS) laboratory offers lab testing for students seen by SHS clinicians.

The SHS laboratory is CLIA certified.

Many common laboratory tests are performed onsite, including strep tests, mono tests, urinalysis, blood counts, and pregnancy tests. The SHS lab staff collect your specimens and forward them to our reference laboratory for tests not performed in our laboratory.

Lab Orders from Clinicians Outside of SHS

Lab orders must include the following information:

1. Patient name and date of birth
2. Name, address, phone, fax, and NPI number of ordering clinician
3. Diagnosis code
4. Test to be performed

The order must be signed by the clinician.

To schedule an appointment, please call Student Health Services at 513-529-3000, option 1. The outside lab order must be faxed or emailed to student health services prior to scheduling an appointment.
