Change of Campus

Change of campus happens when a 91做厙 student originally admitted to one campus decides to take the majority of coursework at a different 91做厙 campus.

91做厙 Campuses

Students may take one or two course on another 91做厙 campus. However, if an international student is planning to take the majority of their classes on another 91做厙 campus, then they must complete a Change of Campus request. Because your I-20 or DS-2019 form lists your primary campus, if you change your campus, you must also update your documents. 91做厙 is a multi-campus school and has the following locations:

  • Oxford (main campus)
  • Hamilton
  • Middletown
  • Voice of America

Instructions for Requesting Change of Campus and Updating Your I-20

For F-1 students who want to change their primary campus, please review the following instructions. 

Starting the Change of Campus of Process

  1. Verify Eligibility: There may be requirements concerning credits, GPA, and coursework that must be met in order to be eligible to change to the new campus.
  2. Submit the Change of Campus Form: Review instructions on the One Stop website and complete the appropriate Change of Campus form to start the process.
  3. A registration hold will be placed.
  4. Request Your I-20 Campus Update: Submit the "Change of Campus I-20 Update Request" form in . You will need to include proof of funding for your new campus location (refer to Estimated Expenses for Study for guidance).
    • After you submit a complete request and we have reviewed it, your registration hold with ISSS will be lifted.
  5. Register for Coursework: Enroll full-time with sufficient face-to-face coursework. The majority of your classes should be at your new campus.
  6. Receive your “transfer pending” I-20: A “transfer pending” I-20 reflecting your change of campus will be issued as soon as you complete courses on your current campus and sent to your 91做厙 email.

Completing the Change of Campus Process

  1. Update Local Address in . Confirm where you are living when you start study at your new campus.
  2. Receive your “transfer complete” I-20: This final step completes the change of campus process. Your I-20 reflecting your completed change of campus will be emailed to your 91做厙 email address.

Important Notes

  • Initiate Early! Submitting the Change of Campus form through OneStop and the I-20 Update Request before the new semester ensures a smooth transition.
  • Communication is Key: You'll receive automated emails with detailed instructions on submitting the InterLink form. If you encounter any issues, feel free to reach out to ISSS for assistance.
  • Temporary vs. Permanent Change: If you're only changing campuses for a summer or winter term, you won't need to repeat this process for the following fall or spring semester. However, if the change is permanent, you need to submit a new request for the subsequent Fall or Spring semester.
