During your studies at 91做厙, there will be moments when you need to utilize additional resources to ensure high-quality academic work. Several campus resources are available to you at no cost as a student. Each office is specialized to provide a specific service, so review the options carefully.

Overview

The mission of the HCWE is to ensure that 91做厙 supports its students in developing as effective writers in college, and fully prepares all of its graduates to excel as clear, concise, and persuasive writers in their careers, communities, and personal lives.

The Howe Center for Writing Excellence provides free individual writing tutoring to all 91做厙 students. The writing consultants are available to help at any stage of your writing for English classes and other classes.

Rinella Learning Center

Overview

The Bernard B. Rinella, Jr. Learning Center organizes programs and services to help students with varied academic preparation and backgrounds learn to do what is necessary to perform inside and outside the classroom. These programs include a studying skills course, tutoring, workshops, supplemental instruction, final exam preparation, and more.

Tutoring

One-on-one tutoring and group tutoring is available. The most common subjects that tutors work with are science, math, statistics, business, and languages, but tutors are available for a variety of courses.

Supplemental Instruction

This academic support program offers additional academic support for historically difficult courses like biology, chemistry, economics, and math.

Academic Counseling/Coaching

Work with a coach or learning specialist to examine students’ activities both inside and outside of the classroom to develop better academic strategies and create a more positive learning environment to succeed.

Overview

The Student Success Center is dedicated to fostering student success in all populations across 91做厙. The staff work to connect students to resources on and off campus, as well as help students, create action plans to resolve issues (personal medical, academic, familial, or other) that affect their academic and/or social success. The Student Success Center also provides a neutral place for students to talk through cross-divisional questions and concerns, including academic options in all colleges and schools.

International Student and Scholar Services

ISSS Requests

International students and scholars can submit a variety of requests to ISSS via InterLink.

Sign-Up for Email Updates

International students and scholars will automatically receive communications from ISSS. Others are welcome to sign up to receive emails and communications from our office.
