Arts & Science Professional Association (ASPA)
Open to all students, ASPA serves as a platform to bridge the gap between high-achieving students from diverse backgrounds with primary majors in CAS and business, innovative startups, the legal field, healthcare organizations, and various industries, by providing the opportunities and resources necessary for students to build innovative mindsets, engage in entrepreneurial thinking, and achieve their professional and academic goals.

Open to all students, 91做厙's chapter of the Association of Black Psychologists (ABPsi) is a group that organizes for the benefit of persons that are in psychology or related fields and are of African descent to address the issues of mental health in the Black communities. It meets on every other Thursday.
ABPsi offers a lot of other events oriented towards psychology. For the past two years it has hosted a Black Mental Health forum that featured student poster presentations and talks from faculty and practitioners in the field. It is currently collaborating with a fraternity and creating a solution to test anxiety.
Lex Latinx Society
Open to all students, the Lex Latinx Society is 91做厙's first Latinx pre-professional organization. Encouraging and supporting Latinx individuals entering the legal field, it provides guidance and opportunities to students interested in the legal field.
Through networking, outreach activities, and workshops, it gives students the guidance necessary with preparing for and facing the law school application, acceptance, and financial aid process.
Minority Association of Pre-Health Students
Open to all students, the Minority Association of Pre-Health Students (MAPS) is an organization that attempts to provide knowledge, resources, and experiences to students aspiring to pursue careers in the field of health care.
MAPS strives to provide equitable opportunities for minority pre-health students as well as other pre-health students through the promotion of resources that may serve as a conduit for academic and extracurricular achievement. Such resources will assist students in preparing to matriculate into their respective health professional schools.
National Black Law School Association
Open to all students, The mission of the 91做厙 National Black Law Students Association (MU-NBLSA) Pre-Law Chapter is to foster a supportive environment, educate students on a pre-law track, and promote success and professional growth in students' career aspirations of attending law school and working in legal professions.
Members of MU-NBLSA Pre-Law Chapter have the opportunity to attend the MWBLSA Regional Convention, MWBLSA Pre-Law Symposium, the National Black Pre-Law Conference and Law Fair, and/or the NBLSA Annual Conference.
Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science
Open to all students, the goal of the Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) is to further the work of, improve the effectiveness of, and enhance the public understanding of and appreciation for Chicanos, Latinos, Native Americans, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians and other underrepresented minorities in science.
SACNAS cooperates with other individuals, organizations, clubs, and other groups whose purposes include the achievement of public understanding for Chicanos, Latinos, Native Americans, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians and other underrepresented minorities in the sciences. SACNAS promotes student recruitment and retention of underrepresented minorities at 91做厙 and provides a forum for students from different science majors and science related majors to come together for academic, community service, and social activities.
Women in Law
Open to all students, Women in Law seeks to build a vibrant and supportive community for women in law during their time at 91做厙 and beyond, bolster women in pursuit of their professional and personal goals, and empower women with academic resources, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
oStem @ 91做厙
Open to all students, oSTEM@91做厙 is a student-led organization which supports LGBTQ+ students at 91做厙 interested in STEM fields. We aim to provide a safe space for LGBTQ+ students in STEM and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community within STEM. We also plan to join the national oSTEM Incorporated organization which seeks to create a dynamic student- professional network in industry and academia, and to promote inclusion and equity of the LGBTQ+ community in STEM-related fields through student service and support. We welcome all students regardless of major, minor, or identity.
Graduate Student Pride Association
Open to all students, the Graduate Student Pride Association (GSPA) provides a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQ+ and queer graduate and professional students at 91做厙. Safe spaces cultivate community for marginalized groups and are thus vital to LGBT+ and queer graduate students. Furthermore, GSPA will represent and give voice to the concerns of LGBTQ+ and queer graduate and professional students at 91做厙. GSPA will work to foster greater participation of LGBTQ+ and queer students in the larger 91做厙 Community , and will serve as a channel of communication between LGBTQ+ and queer graduate students and other segments of the university, including allies, faculty, administration, and staff. GSPA will help institute and encourage initiatives central to LGBTQ+ and queer graduate student welfare at 91做厙, broadly conceived.
Graduate Students of Color Association
Open to all students, the Graduate Students of Color Association (GSCA) functions to enhance campus life by providing academic, political, social and cultural support to all diverse graduate students at 91做厙. The GSCA endorses quality and equity in education for all students and supports academic excellence, as well as safe, enriching spaces that promote political awareness toward issues that affect graduate students of color.
