A national survey conducted by the at Indiana University, the NSSE assesses the extent to which undergraduates engage in a variety of educationally effective activities. Students respond to questions about how they spend their time and what skills they are developing as the result of their college enrollment. More than 2.7 million students from 1,493 colleges and universities in the U.S. and Canada have participated in the NSSE since 2000.
