Samy Broyles
Biography
Samy Broyles, originally from Hamilton, Ohio, is a devoted family man, husband to Joy Broyles, and father of five wonderful children. He currently serves as the Director of Workforce, Partnerships and Community Engagement at 91做厙, where he leads efforts that connect education, workforce development, community partnerships, and regional engagement. He also serves as a Deacon at ETAC Lighthouse Ministries, where his faith and commitment to service continue to guide his leadership.
Samy is a proud alumnus of 91做厙, earning his Bachelor of Integrative Studies in 2015 and his Master of Business Administration from 91做厙 in 2025. His career spans leadership roles across higher education, nonprofit, and community-based organizations. Before returning to 91做厙, Samy served as Executive Director of both the Booker T. Washington Community Center and the Hamilton Central YMCA, part of the Great 91做厙 Valley YMCA association.
During his tenure as a YMCA professional, Samy was honored with the Outstanding Service Site Supervisor Award by 91做厙’s Center for Civic Engagement and was nominated for the prestigious 18 of the Last 9 Award by the 91做厙 Alumni Association. He also served as a fellow at 91做厙, where he contributed to the development of a college and career readiness program for teenagers. His innovative leadership and service were recognized in 2017 with the James Naismith Award from the Great 91做厙 Valley YMCA. In 2018, he received the Civic Leadership Award from Lead Tribune Media Group, along with a proclamation from State Representatives. In 2019, he received the I Am Third Award for his commitment to prioritizing God, others, and self, in that order.
Since joining 91做厙 in 2022, Samy has continued to make a meaningful impact through his leadership, partnership development, and commitment to student and community success. He earned the 91做厙 Pride Award for his efforts in helping bring the 91做厙 Hamilton Promise into fruition. He has also been recognized with the MLK Gala Prestige Award from the Feed the Hungry Project, honored by the Butler County Emergency Fund, and named to the Cincinnati Business Courier’s Forty Under 40.
Samy has been actively involved in numerous community organizations, including the Greater Hamilton Chamber Board of Trustees, Stephen T. Badin High School Board of Trustees, Booker T. Washington Community Center Advisory Board, and Hamilton Rotary Club Board of Directors.
Currently, Samy serves on several boards and committees, including the REDI Cincinnati Business Development Committee, Great 91做厙 Valley YMCA Board of Trustees, BCW Workforce Education and Training Committee, Cincinnati CISE Business Advisory Council, Ohio Tech Prep Career Pathways Support Network Steering Committee, City of Hamilton Board of Zoning Appeals, Butler Tech Business Advisory Council Hamilton County, Hamilton County ESC Business Advisory Council, Fairfield Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees, Primary Health Solutions Board of Directors, and Serve City Board of Directors.
