Applied Biology and Athletic Training Combined Bachelors and Masters
91做厙 Regionals combined Applied Biology program with a concentration in Human Biology & Health Sciences and the Master of Athletic Training (MAT) provides a streamlined route to becoming a credentialed athletic training professional. Students build a strong foundation in the biological sciences before advancing into graduate-level clinical education, developing the knowledge and practical skills needed to prevent, assess, treat, and rehabilitate injuries in active individuals across a variety of healthcare and sports settings.

Declaration of Interest
Students can declare their interest in the combined Applied Biology and Master of Athletic Training pathway at any point after being admitted to 91做厙. However, we encourage students to declare during their first semester to ensure they receive personalized academic advising and stay on track for a seamless transition into the graduate program.
Full Admission
After completing at least 64 credit hours and earning a minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA, students may apply for full admission to the combined program. To be considered, students must submit the graduate application and all required supporting materials.
Student Classification and Graduation
Students in the combined program will remain as undergraduates until they apply for graduation or submit a request to the Graduate School to have their classification changed from undergraduate to graduate.
- Students must have completed a minimum of 124 hours to be classified as a graduate student (note: this change in classification will affect eligibility for financial aid).
- Students must receive their bachelor's degree prior to completing their master's degree. Upon receiving the bachelor's, students will automatically be classified as graduate students.
- Students receiving the bachelor's degree prior to completing the master's degree can count up to 9 hours of graduate coursework toward their bachelor's degree with permission of the appropriate advisor(s) and dean(s) or their designee(s). Those hours can also count toward the completion of their master's degree.
