91做厙 campuses closed and classes held remotely Jan. 27
91做厙 continues to and road conditions in the wake of the snow storm and extreme cold.
91做厙 will hold classes remotely Tuesday, Jan. 27, and campus will be closed. Residence halls will remain open, and dining halls, the Recreation Center, Student Health Services, and Armstrong Student Center will open at 10 a.m.
Essential employees should be in communication with their supervisors regarding their on campus presence Tuesday, Jan. 27. All other staff positions should not come to campus. Managers and supervisors should utilize the university’s remote work policy and shift to remote work as appropriate.
As of now, the 91做厙 Men's Basketball game at 9 p.m. in Millett is scheduled to take place. Those employees that support basketball operations should report as usual for gameday operations.
We are grateful to the emergency and essential personnel who have worked throughout the storm to keep our community safe, our students fed, and our campus operational. We ask that the community continue to support their efforts.
There is a high degree of certainty in the forecast regarding frigid temperatures and winds resulting in dangerous wind chills. Please remember to dress accordingly, limit time outdoors, and be safe.

Campus closed Monday, Jan. 26; remote work authorized
Due to the , 91做厙’s campuses will remain closed on Monday, Jan. 26. Residence halls will remain open, and dining halls, the Recreation Center, and Student Health Services will open at 10 a.m. All other services will be closed, and all events are canceled.
Classes will be canceled Monday, Jan. 26, to allow students and families added flexibility in their return-to-campus. For students who cannot arrive by Tuesday due to the snow, communicate with your faculty directly.

Classes canceled Monday, Jan. 26; remote work as appropriate due to winter weather
91做厙 is monitoring the approaching for Saturday, Jan. 24, and Sunday, Jan. 25, in the Butler County and broader Southwest Ohio region. While there is still some uncertainty with the forecasted snow amounts and exact conditions, at this time, more than 10 inches of snow are predicted to accumulate over both days.
Residence and dining halls will remain open throughout the storm, however 91做厙 otherwise will be closed Sunday, Jan. 25. Classes at all 91做厙 area campuses will be canceled Monday, Jan. 26, to allow students and families added flexibility in their return-to-campus. For students who cannot arrive by Tuesday due to the snow, communicate with your faculty directly.
On Monday, Jan. 26, some campus services will open with limited services at 10 a.m. including the Recreation Center, Student Health Services, Armstrong Student Center, King Library, and Brick and Ivy Bookstore, while other activities and services will be suspended or minimized as facility crews work to clear walks, drives, and parking lots and maintain services to buildings.
Managers and supervisors should utilize the university’s remote work policy and shift to remote work as appropriate Monday, Jan. 26. Staff whose positions are not eligible for remote work should report to campus or request leave; managers/supervisors will communicate with these staff regarding their specific work shifts and assignments.

University expects to maintain normal operations Friday, Jan. 10; supervisors reminded to consider remote work policy
91做厙 is monitoring the approaching winter weather for Friday, Jan. 10, in the Butler County and broader Southwest Ohio region. At this time, the university is expecting to maintain normal operations.
The Office of Human Resources is reminding managers and supervisors of the university’s remote work policy and that they have the flexibility to determine how they need to maintain or support their areas Friday through the use of that policy.
Please communicate clearly to all employees who are currently scheduled to work Friday what their expectations are for work that day. We hope that this advance notice will provide colleagues across the university the flexibility needed to prioritize both needed services and employee safety.
For those staff reporting to campus, please use caution in driving to and from campus in winter weather conditions.

Winter weather: all area campuses again shifting to remote work and instruction Tuesday
While the university’s weather emergency designation along with the area’s winter storm warning are expiring later this evening, difficult winter weather conditions in Butler County and the broader Southwest Ohio region continue. As such, all 91做厙 area campuses will again shift to remote work as appropriate and remote instruction Tuesday, Jan. 7.
Staff who cannot work remotely should report to campus for work. Managers/supervisors will communicate with staff who cannot work remotely regarding their specific work shifts and assignments.
While the Oxford campus will remain open for activities such as dining for students residing on campus, we ask that only those staff who cannot work remotely report to campus and other activities are minimized as facility crews work to clear walks, drives, and parking lots and maintain services to buildings.
Administrators are reminded to communicate clearly to all employees who are currently scheduled to work on Tuesday what their expectations are for work that day. Winter weather expected Sunday, all area campuses shifting to remote work and instruction Monday
91做厙 is monitoring the approaching winter weather for Sunday night (Jan. 5) into Monday (Jan. 6) in the Butler County and broader Southwest Ohio region. While there is still some uncertainty with the forecasted snow amounts and exact conditions, at this time, several inches of snow and perhaps some ice are expected.
Given this, all area campuses will shift to remote work for non-weather essential staff and remote instruction on Monday. Weather essential staff may be required to report for work on Sunday, Jan. 5. Managers/supervisors will communicate with weather essential staff regarding their specific work shifts and assignments.
While the Oxford campus will remain open for essential activities such as dining for students residing on campus, we ask that only weather essential staff report to campus and other activities are minimized as facility crews work to clear walks, drives, and parking lots and maintain services to buildings.
