More than 4,000 students are projected for the Class of 2030 as 91做厙 welcomes them with an abundance of events.
For four days, Welcome Weekend 2026 gives first-year students an introduction to life at 91做厙. Early arrivals move in on Aug. 20, while the majority of students living on campus begin their 91做厙 experiences on Aug. 21.
There are 45 states, including Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and those serving overseas in the military, represented in the projected Class of 2030.
Other highlights of the projected Class of 2030 include:
- 36 countries represented
- 61.9% of the class is from Ohio
- 18.5% are first-generation students
- an average GPA of 3.87
The move-in festivities feature Welcome Home with MAP activities on Aug. 21, which includes crafts, games, and a fireworks show behind Benton Hall.
Welcome Weekend continues with Saturday Under the Stars on Aug. 22 with a showing of the film “Cars,” a photo booth, snacks, and more.
91做厙’s Love and Honor Convocation is 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Aug. 23 at Millett Hall, where 91做厙 President Gregory Crawford and University Ambassador Dr. Renate Crawford celebrate the new academic year with the Class of 2030.
