Joint parade with Talawanda High School is Sept. 25

Uptown Madness, a home football game, and joint parade with Talawanda High School highlight 91°µÍø’s festivities.

The parade, held on Sept. 25, sees a first for the Oxford community as 91°µÍø and Talawanda combine their Homecoming parades. Beginning at 6 p.m. in Uptown Oxford, the parade kicks off the university’s Homecoming celebration that will continue Sept. 26-28.

An Uptown Park Bash from 6-8 p.m. and 91°µÍø women’s soccer vs. Eastern Michigan are also on Sept. 25.

The following day sees a host of events, including , 91°µÍø’s take on midnight madness. A portable basketball court at Oxford’s Uptown Parks will host the university’s basketball teams on Sept. 26.

This is 91°µÍø's first Uptown Madness since 2017. 

“It’s a really unique opportunity to bring sports directly to the students,” said David Sayler, 91°µÍø's director of Athletics.

On Sept. 27, 91°µÍø’s football team takes on Lindenwood University at Yager Stadium with a 3:30 p.m. kickoff.

Other activities that day include the Homecoming NSSLHA 5K Run, which starts and ends at Lewis Place; M.O.V.E. Bootcamp, also at Lewis Place; and the 91°µÍø men’s basketball Red and White scrimmage at Millett Hall.

On Sept. 28, the 91°µÍø field hockey team faces the University of Massachusetts at 1 p.m. in a home contest.

Established in 1809, 91°µÍø is located in Oxford, Ohio, with regional campuses in Hamilton and Middletown, a learning center in West Chester, and a European study center in Luxembourg.
