Annual Accessibility Symposium
Accessibility plays an essential role in creating inclusive experiences and removing barriers. The annual Access for All: Accessibility Symposium highlights current issues and trends in accessibility, offering practical guidance on universal design and creating accessible materials for events, communications, classrooms, and more. This free event is open to anyone at 91做厙 who wants to learn how to make our community more welcoming and accessible for all.

"Access to Human Connection: Technology, Accessibility, and the Journey Ahead"
Technology has transformed what access can mean for people with disabilities, but accessibility is ultimately about much more than technology. It is about access to people, learning, opportunity, and human connection. Drawing from his own journey as a deaf person and more than two decades of work in education, research, and accessibility, Dr. Trager will explore how people, technologies, and unexpected opportunities shaped his understanding of access. From his work at RIT's National Technical Institute for the Deaf and Center on Access Technology to collaborations with Microsoft Research, he will reflect on how accessibility has evolved, where we are today, and why the rapidly changing age of AI makes accessible and inclusive education more important than ever.

All sessions will be held at 91做厙's Shriver Center. You do not have to register for the whole day. You are welcome to register and attend only the sessions that fit your schedule.
