Urgent information about some 91做厙 accounts

Technicians are investigating an issue in the 91做厙 identity system -- but there is a workaround!

An issue in our identity system previously prevented the generation of default passwords for several 91做厙 account types. Those types include:

  • undergraduate students (UND)
  • graduate students (GRA)
  • accepted students (ACC)
  • life-long learning students (LLL)
  • enrollment eligible student (EES)
  • international (INT)
  • courtesy (COU) accounts

This issue is causing new account holders to need a password reset before they can access 91做厙 systems (including email or my91做厙, which is why we are reaching out to you all, because reaching out to these populations directly is difficult). Any 91做厙 account of the kinds listed above created since March 28, 2024, that has not logged in and changed their password to a new value, is subject to this problem.

When attempting to access a 91做厙 resource, an impacted user will receive the message: “Error: Authentication attempt has failed, likely due to invalid credentials. Please verify and try again.”

In order to resolve, the person with the impacted account should navigate to and log in with their UniqueID and default password; the system will prompt the user to set a new password. This password will then be synced across all 91做厙 systems.

They may also call the IT Help support line at 513-529-7900 to speak with an advisor who will walk them through the process.

Thank you for your attention and support. We will provide updates as the issue is addressed by our Identity and Access Management team.
