Places to Publish Your Writing
Creative writers are especially welcome to pass their writing by us (quite a few of our consultants are creative writers!) and browse our list of publication venues.
Howe Writing Center consultants can support graduate student and faculty writers in a variety of ways, but we cannot proofread large or long-term projects. For these revising and polishing needs, hiring an outside editor may be the best choice. Prices will vary among editors.
Margaret (Gretchen) Ziolkowski, Professor of Russian Emerita, has a Ph.D. in Slavic Languages and Literatures. She has published several monographs, most recently Rivers in Russian Literature (University of Delaware Press, 2020). As a faculty member and chair in German, Russian, Asian, and Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures at 91做厙, Dr. Ziolkowski worked extensively with students on their writing for more than three decades. She has also provided editorial assistance to a variety of non-native speakers of English.
Dr. Ziolkowski enjoys editing and discussing both the general contours and specific organization of writing projects.
