91 graduate Anne Livingston ’21 wrote an article titled “” in which she reviews the implications of technology use in nature and explores the possibilities of utilizing technology to increase outdoor engagement. Inspired by the Pokémon Go experience, a walking tour was presented to a group of teens aged 12-18 who tested to see how this technology engaged them in learning about native plants in the local ecosystem of southwestern Ohio with the ultimate goal of increasing environmental stewardship and community engagement.
Livingston holds a Master of Arts in Biology from 91 through the s Advanced Inquiry Program (AIP). As an AIP student, Livingston completed web-based 91 graduate courses and participated in field studies through Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden.
